I know i've already been down this road on this forum but i'm still having difficulty with the reverse lights. I've tested the relay to the best of my knowledge with a test light by running it from the 50A connection to the RF connection and no lights on the test light, but it is going into reverse when selected. Is there a fuse of some kind somewhere that I have looked over? I'm using this wiring guide. http://www.thesamba.com/vw/archives/info/wiring/baybus_76_supplement.jpg

First verify that fuse S12 is good. If good. Pull the cover off the shifter and check for power in (15) and out (RF) of the switch.

I've connected a test light across those pins and it did not light up the lights. I'm going to check them a bit more this evening. Looking at the fuse my brake lights and horn work fine and I believe they are on the same fuse.

looking at that wiring diagram does it jump from fuse 12 to fuse 11?
