Get a bug and start cutting .
There are enough louvers in the front for a v6 .( GM V6 automatic with front wheel drive )
double cab doors and back wall
cut down model A bed or make your own and buy the fenders
start a build thread
I'm trying to figure out how he got the flat long rag top ....? something off a bus ? _________________ 63 two fold rag

Rather Bizarro as I was actually thinking about how cool something like this would be the other day. I don't have the space, time or money to do a project like this but would love to drool over someone else's..... |

Just a guess, but there is a place in Thailand where guys shape metal replacement parts that match the factory panels with surprising accuracy. Their shop is outdoors, under tarps, and they use wood blocks, hammers, and simple tools. There is a video of them, showing them sitting on the ground holding sheet metal in their feet, banging away. Pretty impressive. I'll hunt for a link.
Anyway, that still shot looks like their workspace, along with all those VWs. I'll bet that rag-crew-bug-truck is there, or started there. They would definitely have the skills. _________________ Plate of shrimp |
