Very cool snorkel accessory, I've visited your country a few times and am always amazed at the innovation and can-do attitude _________________ .ssS! |

Hey, sometimes you can find some absurd innovations as well, not only in Bulgaria. And there are dedicated people in their job everywhere, but thanks for the good words
I think that I will paint the bus next spring, it's not ready yet. I've painted the laguage compartment with some rust preventive paint, so I can mount the fuel tank next.

Hi guys,
It is the third summer I'm working on my VW. I was looking for new interior, as mine was half missing. I found very good seats:
Then some original chromed parts:
Last autumn the bus was on primer, I had to do some final touches and to fine sand it. I did and decided to paint it myself. I started with the white color, I've never painted a car before. Started with the rims and bumpers:
I removed the front window remove some rust , masked with tape and moved on. The dashboard is now painted in black:
Then the big day .. painting the orange:
The result on the next day:
Still have to do the interior and the load bed, but I'm really enthusiastic now _________________ My 77 Single Cab |

Hi gays,
Once again, thank you. In order to save that VW I was inspired by posts in this forum. I really hope my posts will inspire someone else. Even if someone tell you it is impossible, do not stop.
One picture from this weekend. The front window with new rubber seal. Also the drivers door painted and mounted.
Waiting for some parts to be delivered next week, so i can do basic interior. Also have to paint the load bed.
Cheers! _________________ My 77 Single Cab |

Hi guys,
I was working on the bus this week.
Mounted the wipers, the dashboard, speedometer cable, new ignition cables also the VW badge.
I took it for a drive, it was awesome
I found some leakage from the carburetor that I have to solve, also it does not keep the idle after it gets hot. so if you have some advise, what to check?
Anyway, I'm happy with it, here it is on the road:

The gas leaking from the card could be the idle problem.
To high of fuel pressure, dirty needle n seat, stuck carb float.
Looking good

Hi guys,
Monday I took the VW to the traffic police station for registration renewal:
After few hours spend there now I have I'm road legal and have a licence plate:
Then I drove the bus for about 40 km .
It goes pretty good, except the fact that it doesn't keep engine speed at idle. I plan to take take down the carb and clean it once again to see if that will help.
Still have to work on the interior , but I'll do that with pleasure _________________ My 77 Single Cab |

Hi guys,
It was a long time since my last post here.
I'm still working on my bus and plan to take it out for a first retro event in June.
I've been working on the interior.
The headliner is in place:
Also door panels which I made myself.
So it looks more complete now:
I've painted the load bed, although there are some wholes in it, but so far so good, I have to be ready for end of June.
Meanwhile, working on something to put in the back of the truck:
