after several hours of grinding, cutting and test fitting, the front end is nearly ready to get bulk head welded on.

You might want to think about shortening up that frame head...
Otherwise your pedal cluster position is going to be pretty bad. Unless you have short legs that is. I shortened mine 4" and had to do some clearancing for the master cylinder to fit afterwards. Just some advice.

I was able to remove engine (found large crack on side of block)

and have removed rear suspension.

Now had to tackle front suspension, about 2 hours trying to figure it out.

Now begins the fun part on placing the body and pan together.

But before I tore out the suspension I made a few pics on measurements.

I would say 89 maybe 89 1/4.

Finally had the time to get the bulkhead welded on. The aftermarket part was not fitting correctly and messaged it in with a hammer.

Arc welded not as pretty but will do the job.

Next task is to remove rear Dside swing arm.
