Is it cut? Something looks off to me around the vents.

That's the way it came from the factory. Just checked my 66 bug ...looks exactly the same. You're thinking that they likely stamped that cut and then rolled the metal back to form the vent, so the remaining metal at the base of the windshield should have a curve to match the curve on the vent ...but, I guess that's not how they did it. _________________ "If you can't fix it with pop rivets, crazy glue and duct tape, or hold it together with zip ties, velcro or magnets, it REALLY is broken." |
