Am I looking at this pix correctly? It looks like you have angled your shock towers outward. If so have you reinstalled your trailing arms and test fitted your wheels. I’ve seen cases where the insides of the tires come real close to making contact with the shock towers depending on offset.

The shock towers are stock angle. the only thing I did was add another mount hole. I notched the towers and added 10GA Material. The beam still looks like this. I won't paint it till I do a final fit up with tires and rims.

A fellow mate here in WA has a bug that can lay out on 17x7's. I think he's got 165/40/17's on the front.

Is he running 7" or 5" wide in the front? If he is running the 7" he prob is stretch those puppies. I was thinking 185/35/17 front and 205/45/17 in the rear. Let me know if you can find out his combo I have not seen it on the samba. Smile

Well life happens but I did get this for Xmas from friends. It used to be his car so will have to see how this spring goes. Will try for Woodburn again in 2019. Maybe if not at least driving, I hope.

Well my 5yr old daughter helped me put in new heater ducting since the OG ones were disintegrating. The motor will pulled and cleaned up down the road. I did not want that stuff going through the heating system. All for now I know its

Got my backing plates powder coated. They were pretty bad as you can tell little pitted but they are coated so at least they will not rust anymore. Now normally they would turn out a lot better with normal plates. This coating that was used does not melt under brake fluid and holds up really well. Good thing no one is going to see these. Not a show car for sure. Smile

I am going to miss being able to make this kind of stuff at work. Sad So I made two sets of bag mounts for the rear. Razz IRS of course too.
