I was wondering if anyone made aftermarket replacement front seat frames. My driver seat frame is rusted beyond repair (by me) so I was wanting to see how much it would cost to just purchase a new seat. '76 westy _________________ 1976 Type II Westy P22

I've thought of that but if there was such a creature as a new one with new springs etc. that's the direction I'd prefer _________________ 1976 Type II Westy P22

My '76 also had the earlier rails and wouldn't work with Vanagon seats. But I was lucky enough to get the rails off a Vanagon and install them on mine. I'm very happy with the results, since driving 4 hours isn't a pain in the backside anymore. _________________ -Kent-

you do have the rails off the bottom of your broken seat that can be put on any seat you can find |
