After cutting the outlet pipe for the supercharger, I finally added a lip for the hose clamp to grab onto. Aluminum doesn’t do well trying to weld when dirty, this thing was pretty full of grease and oil. Good thing I’m not trying to make a structural repair

Added the breather connection to the supercharger mount since I’m removing the stock one from the oil filler

Oil filter outlet drains to bulkhead ad then to the valve cover. It looks like a hose but it's actually a steel tube that I flared.

I've never seen anybody mount a top end oiler in the front of the car. I have no space in the engine compartment, so I figured I'd mount it by the gas tank. Easy to check the oil level and top off.

I modified the original bracket to mount to 2 fender holes and one gas tank hole, easily removed if needed.

I have seen these used with Judson superchargers... But with an AMR500, the oil is self contained. What are you using this Ampco oiler for? Sorry if you've already answered this question.

Yeah, I'm actually using it to lube the top end of the engine as well as the supercharger lobes. You are correct though, it isn't necessary. I know that boost is hard on valvetrain, so anything to help there is a plus. My thinking also is that fuel is a solvent, so lube on the blower rotors is not a bad idea

The marvel mystery oil if mixed with the fuel may lower the octane . Something to avoid with boost .On the judson it was needed to lube the phenolic vanes.

The AMR has plastic lobes, I'd like them to have some lube. At such low boost levels and ECM controlled timing, I shouldn't have any problems.

Yeah, a bunch actually. Not much to show with pics yet. Sunday I welded up some PO extra holes in the gas tank area. Yesterday, I wire wheeled and cleaned the whole trunk area for primer. My seat covers showed up last week. Also working on door sheet metal where the hinge is riveted, there are some cracks. I've got everything masked off to spray some primer in the trunk when it's warm enough outside....

So, based on the recommendations from Samba members, I ditched the old Empi oil cooler/fan setup for a more efficient and compact Setrab. I was able to use existing tabs welded on the left frame horn and torsion housing to mount it next to the trans. Made some new brackets for quick removal, rubber mounting and a protection screen. It lets air flow under it on all sides and in case a plastic bag or something gets sucked into it.

I forgot to post this pic, a few months ago I painted the trunk. I know that if I go to do the whole car in one shot, I'll do something stupid like drag the air hose over another surface with wet paint on it. So, much easier for me to mask it off. I'll probably do the engine compartment the same way. Wiring isn't loomed up yet, but the goal is to get all these loose parts out of my way and keep them somewhat organized. I also put in the sound deadener material.

Even though I straightened my back seat frame (not sure how it was folded like a taco from a PO, maybe it came from a junkyard?), it still had a nasty kink and curve.
