Wow, what a great little business and professional-looking web site. I had no idea that Robbie was a such a bus whisperer.
Robbie - I'd love to meet you, if you find yourself in northern New Mexico. There are fun places up here to explore and hide out in a VW bus. _________________ John

I would suggest a new thread. Ask to have this one renamed with the year on it of the last trip then have it locked and start a new one with the new year(s) when you make the trip. Make the first post in the new thread such that you put a link to the prior trip so someone who wants to read 48 pages can. Some one new would be intimidated I think by using the old thread. Essentially that is what Colin does every year on his itinerary. _________________ “Most people don’t know what they’re doing, and a lot of them are really good at it.” - George Carlin |

Thanks for the kind words and ideas everyone!
I’m leaving tonight and heading towards the Midwest. Bus has been good to me, and I’ve been good to it, so I don’t foresee any problems. New thread will be posted when I hit the road.
Flying by night for the first leg because I can’t personally tolerate anything over 95* for extended periods.

Yup, it's got to be hard following a 3 second distance when your head is down, staring at your phone texting.

We’ve morphed our old-age travel to
2 hour , break. 120miles
2 hours , lunch. 120 miles
2 hours, break. 120 miles
2 hours Dinner stop, 120
We can stretch another 2 to reach a destination which gives us a 500-600 mile range per day with everyone comfortable plus you meet real people at the breaks
When trailering the boat this has the added benefit of dealing anything going crazy on the trailer _________________ .ssS! |

watch out for flying snakes, especially crossing the desert at night.
You can avoid them by keeping the windows rolled up.
