Swapping Air Duct and installing fan blower

Hi again

My 1969 411 has the "Small" fan ducting installed at the rear.

It also doesn't have the "booster fan".

The engine lid opening that sits on top of the fan is about 750mm wide and the ends were previously blocked off by the PO.

My understanding is that one of the previous owners needed to replace the original lid with a later model lid that had a larger opening.

My question is this:

I think I have found a larger air duct, booster fan, sealing rubbers etc.

Is it a simply matter of removing the old duct and just bolting in the larger duct?

Are the mounting holes the same?

As long as the mounting tabs in the scoop/duct meet up with the holes in the body and the lower end fits the rubber bellows....that should be all you need.
