hey guys i just recieved my fender well replacement sections from kelly brown "aka metwiz".he did an exellent job.i was wondering if anyone could mesure the distance from the lowest vent{put the tape mesure in the slot}to the lip of the fender.also from the rocker to the top of the fender well.going to weld them in on monday and would like to get close to stock as possible.the bus is a 59{no outer lip}.i am soon going to be a member of H.F.A.! {hacked fender wells anonymous}...thanks Louis |

From my '59 panel,
Bottom vent to top of arch looks like 12.5"...
from bottom of rocker to top of arch looks like 6.25"
from the very front of the arch to the jack point looks like 10.5"

Would anyone know the measurements of the wheelwells for a 61 single cab? Could someone measure from the bottom of the bed down?"under the lip" |

15 3/16" from the bottom of the lip that runs around the bed. from my '62, same as the '61. _________________ John Walker's Workshop 206 789 6800

A 62 should have liped wheelwells, I need someone who has "flat" wheelwells on a singlecab to measure it for me. |

Depends on when in '62 it was made. _________________ Your Vanagon sucks, Stop waving at me.
