I'm trying to adjust my door latch, as it won't lock, looks to be a worn pin, but I'm also looking to identify if I have the correct one, I've looked in the forum but can't find my part number, it's:

If you posted what the latches go into it might be easier to figure out

This might sound silly but try switching the drives and passengers door latches with each other. I did that and it fixed my door not being able to unlock! I still cant explain why it worked though... I think it is because the drives latch has been used so much and it needs a latch that is basically unused! Don't go aftermarket... my trigger just snapped off.... yup

I am pretty sure they are not handed on your door latch (my 71 is not handed)

| Hello. I am looking for a drivers side door latch for a 68 Ghia. the part number is 1430405013.4L. I've searched the internet with no luck at all. Any help is appreciated. Thanks! |
