I'm running a big bore 40hp with a W100 cam, 010 distributor, and dual Strombergs. It starts, runs, and idles well but seems to miss a little at higher revs (anything over 3000 RPM) while on my first long(ish) trip. I just shifted a little sooner than normal to avoid the issue but I don't like doing it because of the fan speed.

Thoughts?

Coil or condenser.
Had several new bad coils recently. They get hot and crap out.
The 010 condensers are getting scarce. They can cause miss at rpm.

I've hoarded a stash of NOS condensers for 010/019. I'll swap it out and test.
Thanks Doug
