I don't frequent the 1968> Beetle forum very often as most of my cars are early models. However, I recently picked up a nice 1976 model 'Sun Beetle' (UK spec) that had been locked away since 1988. The Sun Beetle interior looks like this...
...it has grey-ish/blue cloth/dark blue leatherette.
Was this material used on a number of different model Beetles? Perhaps in countries like Sweden that used a lot of cloth interiors?
Unfortunately, my drivers seat is ripped. Does anybody know of a source of this material or possibly even have a used cover available? _________________ 1947 Beetle

That looks like the velour used, the lowback seats are throwing me off on a 76' though. I don't think they did that in the US? _________________ When I set my timing, why do I flush, then take a pee? |

Correct, UK cars always had low back seats. The material is like a ribbed velour. _________________ 1947 Beetle
