I finally found a set of good 53-55 front seat frames for my 54. I stripped them down, repaired the areas that needed it, and sent them off to powder coat.

The upholstery theme is not stock, but I wanted to stick with something similar. It's amazing how nice these seats sit. The 64 seats I had at first were so flat because the seat rails on the later cars are slanted.

In the end it was worth it, even though the price for these seats now days is crazy.

I did everything but the front and rear seats, which were done by Classic Upholstery in Conroe, Texas

Would you have the design with the correct position on which the rails are soldered on the bench and on the floor, or do you know where it is? It's for a 54 beetle. Thank you!
