That picture is from an off the shelf Panchito Glenn, they all look just as clean as that one. |
Awesome.... nice to see QUALITY parts are still available. |
I have many quality CB parts in my engine. In my eyes CB is a great company who stands behind their products.
As stated by Pat the heads I saw yesterday looked just like the picture, 100% perfect! _________________ __________

Hacksaw blades, long drill bits, and long files are my tools of choice when cleaning up casting flash on heads. This is/was normal practice before installation. |

How does everyone measure their cylinder head temps? Also, when discussing cylinder head temps; do these discussions include what kind of vehicle, what compression, exhaust, doghouse, non-doghouse, carburation lean/rich, at idle, after driving for 30min, 1 hour, 7 hours, ambient temp at time of test, etc, etc, etc.
As everything I mentioned above can affect temps, how can cylinder head temps really be compared in a meaningful way? _________________ Please "LIKE" us on facebook to see what we are working on.

Don't forget ambient temperature and humidity. _________________ Glenn

Behind the plug on n°3. If we could make this a standard... at least eliminate one variable.
1679 cc Type 2 : 350°F +/- 50°F, 7 hrs drive.
1745cc Type 1 275°F +/- 25°F, 6 hrs drive.
Summer. |
