Have a 71 super convertible. All the window regulators work, but the little teeth that the window crank attach too are smoothed off on all four.
Questions:
71/72 Super Vert window regulators. Are they different than 68 up standard verts?
I assume they are different than sedan door regulators?
I was told they are different but Im having trouble seeing how. I just dont want to buy the wrong ones. Thanks for any help. _________________ MAKE FORUMS GREAT AGAIN

I'm pretty certain all convertibles use the same throughout the years, so any donor should work. But they are definitely different than sedans.
That said, anything can be rigged as long as it's hidden in the door behind the panel! It just makes the window move up n down. The rear guide channel and vent wing frame are what control window alignment. So last resort you may make universal regs work. May as well add motorized if you go through the trouble. Good luck! |

I just bought a vert door regulator from the classifieds a few weeks ago, There was a bunch of them listed. You definitely want to verify the crank isn't stripped. Pretty common |
