I love reading articles written by someone who "doesn't get it"....
From the wording used, I'd guess the writer has a boosted civic, or EVO and can't understand why anyone wouldn't have one themselves.... How can someone not drive what Everyone else has? Be unique, but why? Lol!
The Rotary Thing looks well built, albeit a little tacky for my tastes with the chrome stick on trim, stick on carbon fiber, and extra badges everywhere....
And it would seem that proper sized/placed mirrors would help avoid that Goofy right mirror drilled into the hood.....
I'd say it's an upper teens valued Thing, for what's visible in the pics. _________________ '74 Thing, "Our Thing"....

I'm always surprised that articles like this rarely if ever mention the Things military origins. It makes a lot more sense in that light. Do they not know? Do they really think it was designed like that for marketing reasons? Wikipedia is easy research, even if you're lazy. |

I had a rotary Mazda RX7, it was great to drive, the engine pulled so smoothly and revved high.
. Ralph Nader and I wouldn't get along. I had a Corvair for a long time and now I have a THING. I like different and interesting cars that are fun.
Safety? Well I did have a Volvo 122, and Volvo GLT. |
