Our 72 blue panel with Vespa logo was stolen from our storage garage in Hesperia some time in the last month.
It has a vertical engine. There is no interior - bare walls. Plates are not current registered.
They also stole an 74 ASI camper, brown tow dolly, an aluminum Triton trailer, and the Red Wagon cycle camp trailer.
If seen please contact the police where ever you are and advise them. For more information email us at [email protected].
Good news is we got the double cab back. |

Good news in getting the Double Cab back and, of course it stands to reason
the thieves also took the panel & the camper too.
So, obviously the police just did their job and most likely don't investigate
much further since they are busy with higher crimes and it kinda sucks but,
this is the way these type of cases are looked at nowadays. it's really sad.
Let's hope the assholes are caught soon. _________________ V.W.owner since 1967 |

Let's also hope they know how to service vintage Vespa scooters too,
or this is going to get awkward. |

The police found our Vespa panel van last week, in pieces, a couple blocks from where it was stolen. Makes us mad they killed a perfectly good bus.
RIP

Why steel the bus to cut it up like that? They didn't even part it out. Just chopped it into wired pieces, practiced spay painting, then just threw all the pieces around the yard.

That totally sucks! But lots of busses have been resurrected from less & what remains is at least solid. _________________ Everybody born before 1975 has a story, good, bad, or indifferent, about a VW.

Put "Humpty Dumpty" back together again---
I would learn how to capture fingerprinting- you know the cops didn't do it.

part what out? it's a panel van...not much there to part out...all of the parts are run of the mill...and the "panel only parts" are still there.
well, I dunno what I would do.....call my insurance agent and collect 30K would be a start.... _________________
