|
|
Hey Guys,
Does anyone know where I can get a replacement rubber "boot" for the underside of my Westy table? This is the part that holds the folding leaf in the folded position when not in use. Or, does anyone have an intact/not cracked or split one lying around somewhere?
Thanks in advance!!! _________________ Kirk

If you can not find a replacement you could take a crack at fabricating one using a rubber stopper (available at any hardware store). Just cut it to shape. Good luck. _________________ 1972 Westy ("Bubbles") - Pastel White - 1700(1974 MT) - Dual Solex |

Hey Guys,
I tracked these down all the way to the OEM in Germany. Brand new rubber. Naturally I ordered a quantity of them in case any other Westy owners might also need one. I have them in-hand and ready to ship.
So, if you need one, let me know!!!

that rubber piece looks like the part that is in the windshield stay piece on a VW thing, 181 847 449, in fact i am sure it is that part. but i did not know that rubber piece was lurking in a westy table. _________________ SL |

We still have a few of these available - check your Westy table leaves (you don't want them flopping around). They've been very popular with the Thing owners but I'd also like to see them go to the Westy's as well. _________________ Kirk

For my folding table, I didn't have that bracketry on under mine so what I did was installed a small high powered magnet on the side paneling. I can post a picture if anyone's interested. |

I'm reviving this thread because I have received another shipment from the manufacturer and I'm sure that there may be someone looking for them. The new price is $9.00 each shipped to US and Canada.
