I did not like the idea of the bottom of the flywheel being exposed. So I made a simple aluminum cover, mounting bolt holes were right there, For the Subaru cover I assume. Cost $0 Old aluminum cooky sheet[img]

Most people would begin to feel growing discomfort when faced with the full extent of their folly. I don't know how you do it.

It's been a lot of work and a substantial cash expenditure for sure. But being older and more or less retired gives me the time, and what else am I going to do with my money? I figure in the end I will have a almost new van. In many ways better than new. That should be fun safe and dependable. Can I recover my investment if I were to ever sell (not likely ) probably not. But thats not the point, I did it because I love my van Vino and she deserves it. Our future travels will be epic and hopefully van trouble free. It mite not make sense to some, but I am quite pleased i've made this journey. I'm quite comfortable with my decision, Folly would be if she never gets finished, but I guaranty that won't happen.
