10-6-1966 LSD was made illegal. What a long strange trip it’s been.

Yes, but Everette's clock is two hours behind ours. Even then, your post hadn't quite made it to the AM.

If your times are wrong on the site, go fix your timezone in your Control Panel

You have to update it again later if you live somewhere with daylight savings time

This day in history......yesterday actually.....was the final, flight by United airlines....of a Boeing 747. By the end of the year....Delta will follow and there will be no more passenger service on 747 by a U.S. airline.
The end of an era.

On Dec. 6, 1941 maybe 95% of Americans wanted to stay out of foreign wars. By Sunday afternoon on Dec. 7, likely 95% had changed their minds are wanted to get into the war. Dec. 8 was declaration of war only with Japan, and Churchill felt that day that he was now sure that the war in Europe would be won. Three days later, against the recommendations of his advisors, Adolf declared war on the U.S. so didn't take much for opinion to be with getting into the European war.

37 years ago yesterday, John Lennon was murdered outside of the Dakota Building in NYC. I just saw the imagine memorial in Central Park today, and it was amazing to see it had new flowers around it even in the snow.

Dec. 11, 1941: Hitler declared war on USA (his 1st or 2nd biggest mistake).

This brought USA into the European war; USA declaration of war right after Pearl Harbor was only against the Japanese.
