At least, today was the formal release of the product. Two days earlier the famous "1984" Superbowl ad aired:

I did my first stint of computer drafting on a Mac, with MacDraft and floppy discs. This was in high school drafting class, @1986 or so.

My father had prepared his obituary ahead of time. He was always a planner. After he passed away we managed to retrieve his obituary from his Mac. Three days later someone went back on his machine to find another document. The mac was inoperative. Mother board/CPU failure.
Que the spooky music.

Two bullets. That's all it would take for the Beatles to be back together again.

I've been trying to find a you tube track of a song by the Presidents of the United States of America. It was a hidden bonus track, something with a title like "a tribute to the Beatles". It just repeated the line "one down, three to go" over and over. It was obviously recorded before the demise of Mr Harrison.

EDIT: here is the original Meat men version. I think the Presidents did a short hidden track cover.

Warning, NSFW

So many memories tied up with "Rumors" and the prior "Fleetwood Mac" album. It was a time of my life with so many different things going on. Thanks Mick, John, Christie, Lindsey and Stevie.
