I understand that the Blueseas ACR draws a small amount of power to do its job but I'm unclear on where/when this draw occurs. When installed per its instructions, does it draw from,
- only the aux battery until it de-combines the aux from the starter battery?
- from the aux until it de-combines THEN draws from the starter battery?
- some other scenario?

Ok I'll bite
I'll say the 15 mA draw, when batteries separated, comes from the sense battery. Ie the battery that the sense wire is connected to.
I admit I haven't checked mine to prove this WAG, I'd prefer it to be on the other side, and in my case that would be the auxiliary battery. I have the sense wire connected to the staring battery.
