Did you patch in the louvers in this engine lid also or did you form them with a louver press or another tool?

Those are original kleinbus louvers , and i welding it to engine lid. . |
I looked for a website selling those louvered panels called "Kleinbus", and I can't find anything. I would like to put some just like that behind my license plate.
Where did you get it?

Really looking good. Dont know I I had mentioned rear fenders and what you are using. One of the problems is that using a stock bug fender is that when you slice it straight back across the top, it has a banana shape when viewed from the side (thicker in the middle). Thats the main reason I ended up using Morris Traveler rear fenders on the woodie and the hearse. _________________ D-Dubya Manx clone - 63 Short pan,1914.
Rosie 65 bug - My mostly stock daily driver.
Woodie 69 VW woodie (Hot VWs 7/12).
"John's car" 64 VW woodie - The first ever
Maxine 61 Cal-look bug - Cindy's daily driver.
Max - 73 standard Beetle hearse project - For sale
66 bug project - Real patina & Suby conversion
There's more, but not keeping them... |
