Our family dog ,Luna ,passed in January after a very van worthy life, in 10 years she lived in 2 vans ,an 87 tin top and our 99 MV . She made 4 road trips across country and camped in at least 20 states, so whilst going through some photos I found this one taken at Christmas at San elijo state park in so cal , what made me smile was the ground squirrel stealing her food ! (we tossed the food after the critter left) So in honor of our lost vandog I thought I'd start a post showing your best friend out enjoying your van life.

Lol. He's a Great Pyrenese/Lab mix. About 130lbs. He mostly curls up on the entire floor at night when camping.

Disco sleeps in the back, driver corner. Always. Strange dog that one.

Most dogs are creatures of habit. Except my Husky Shep Lab mix, who call the A-Bomb dog....as in, if an A-bomb went off next to her, she probably wouldn't look up.

That is your fault for cooking in your van and making it smell like grease.

Xtremjeepn I see in your 4th pic above that it looks like your front seats swivel. How do I make that happen? Love the idea.

Buy seat swivels from any number of dealers and bolt them on Wink

It's a little hit or miss which dealers have them in stock at any time. I've installed a bunch of them on the vans I build. Usually with custom shortened seat bases to get the height back to stock.

They really transform the space in the van.

If you have the photo on your computer you can go to Gallery in the Samba menu bar and select Add Photo and fill in the boxes. You must fill in the Title box and you must select the Category from the dropdown and then you Browse for the photo on your system, then click Submit. It's pretty self-explanatory and will let you know if you're doing it wrong.

Probably best to resize your pic to 640 x 480 pixels (that's for landscape orientation; 480 x 640 for portrait) before uploading because if the photo is too large it will not upload. I use MS Paint for resizing.

Once uploaded, simply copy the "Forum code" in the text box on the right side of your Gallery Index screen and paste it into your post in this forum. Happy posting! Can't wait to see the dog.

So whilst at descend on bend we were adopted by the pup from the rig next to us! A 12 year old husky/blue healer mix named Xango would jump into our rig each morning and hang , their cats even jumped in on occasion, fun times.
