Is is the same that was called a choke pull off on old US carbs.? I disassembled 2 carbs. and the spring under 1 of the diaphrams was a little stronger than the other. Why, different dash # or someone mess up? They look just alike except one was made from a little heaver gauge wire.

It's usually called a choke breaker, the heavy spring may be from a cheapo aftermarket rebuild kit.
