Anyone heading on the 101 through the Thousand Oaks/Camarillo area on the way?
A couple of us will be at the top of Camarillo grade at about 6 am (Starbucks at Wendy Drive).
We may join one or more at the 101/126 interchange (Arby's parking lot) about half an hour later.
Pretty much all northbound cars will be on the 101 from that point forward. This gets us into Cayucos by about 9:30, in time to cool off the cars and check them out before the 10am drivers meeting at the garage.
The more the merrier! If we have several groups, we could exchange cell numbers to connect on the drive. I'll have a two-way radio tuned to channel 3 (of course!), too.

| I had plans to camping in julian the same weekend as the T3 rally and would rather take a ride up the coast. I know it's a lil late and I believe rooms may be sold out. Does anybody have a room or place they ay want to split? Lee or any of the 1500 club guys? I was gonna pull my trailer but I'm opting to go light as possible going solo. Any tips or accommodations would be appreciated. |

For those of you on Instagram, use #type3rally2017 on any pictures you post up from the rally.
Looking forward to the weekend! I just blew my oil cooler last night and had to get a new one in there ASAP! All good now.

| It's official, I'm in. A lil last minute but I'm registered and so looking forward to a weekend of type 3s and looking forward to hanging out with old friends going back to the NONA days. |

We have a group of 7-10 now targeting 6:30 in Ventura (Arby's).
Of course timing can change somewhat, but that leaves time to settle a bit before the morning Pismo drive. Hopefully we can all hook up and convoy to Cayucus from there! |

1st Meetup @ 4:00AM - Simone's Donuts - 6400 E. Stearns St., Long Beach, CA 90815
Roll out at 4:15AM.
2nd Meetup @ 6:30AM - Arby's - 3550 E. Main St., Ventura, CA 93003.
Roll out at 6:30AM.

Just another quick note - As you know there is a BBQ on Saturday night, but we are also have a bratwurst dinner on Friday evening (around 6:30) at the Borridori Garage. Also we will have a simple sandwich lunch on the Saturday Drive at W.R. Hearst State Beach. Remember to bring your own refreshments!
All volunteers to help will be welcomed!
And...On Friday morning we will be leaving the Borridori Garage (455 North Ocean Avenue, Cayucos) at 10:30. We will be taking the leisurely route to Port San Luis (3920 Avila Beach Drive, Avila Beach 93405) and should be there around 11:30. There's a couple places for lunch there. We are going to hang around until 1:00 if anyone coming up later wants to just meet us there.

Annnd another thing - FUEL - Please show up at the beginning of the drives with full (or close to it ) tank. Especially on Saturday morning. There is ONE gas station in Cayucos (at the corner of Cayucos Drive and Ocean Avenue). There are more in Morro Bay. Just a heads up, gas is expensive up here! I don't know why, it just is.
