Hello all,
Wanting to get the perfect setup for our keeper, a 1972 Riviera, 6 rib tranny. Got a type 4, porsche 2.0 with stock Porsche cam, motor is ready to switch back in but I'd like to try something a bit different than the Kadron's I been running forever. Hearing dual 40mm Dellorto's from several good sources. 36mm to small? 45mm to big? This work horse hauls a lot to gear and even a small trailer so looking for torque down low, not a lot of high RPM. Any one found the sweet spot with Dellorto's in a bay? Thanks all for any info or any experiences.

Having run both 36 DRLA' s and 40 DRLA' s on 2.0 type IV motors
I would say the 40mm DRLA is the better choice.

Sounds like you have the wrong cam for low end power
