You don't show us any current pictures, but pans are pretty thin metal that can be hammered/clamped/welded into position. They get covered with carpet never to be seen again! If you have to oval out the pan holes to match up to the heater channel mounting nuts that is not critical & can be covered with the rectangular washers. I still think the new heater channels should be fully welded in and the body set back on the chassis. Then you can bolt the pans onto the new heater channels & then fit/weld in the new pans.

The pan holes aren’t really the problem... I’ll take some pictures in a minute, but the edge of the pan is bent up at an angle inwards like it’s been twisted.

Okay Mike, a lot of bending and hammering and I think it's all set. I have to knock the lip i made back down and then I'm done with the pans.
