That looks like it might be a custom/home made setup. |

Thanks. Pictures I see of original Thing exhaust looks good with nothing hanging underneath. Everything I see for a thing has a muffler or a bunch of pipes hanging underneath. Is there anything made like the exhaust in the link you sent that will fit without modification?. With mine I can remove valve covers with exhaust in place. That is a bit plus. |

I emailed them about the exhaust and here is their RE:
Hi Leo,
Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but this item is no longer being made (Bugpack exhausts were discontinued by EMPI when they purchased Bugpack last spring). We are selling off some remaining old Bugpack stock, but that unit is not one that we still have.
If you had tried to put the item in your cart, our site pops up a notice advising you that it is no longer available. But now we have updated the display on the main page to advise of this also.
Sincerely
Stephanie

Do you have a photo of the Duel cannon 2041-2042 on an engine and how far apart are the tail pipes where exhaust exits. I am trying to determine if that exhaust will fit a VW Thing. All the exhaust I see for a thing have a large muffler or pipes hanging under the bumper. That doesn't look good.

TTS split system is nice - had one for years but went to the tri mil setup so that I can get to the valves easier. That certainly made things noisier though!
I lust after this one....some day!
