Ok folks, sorry to ask the "what's it worth" question but I have no idea what a fair price is for these items.

*14" Fuchs (5 wheels, no rash, no center caps) part # 901.361.016.00
*902/1 5 speed trans in good working order.

They were in/on my Ghia from the P.O. and though I like the wheels, 14" is just too limited tire wise and i'm going back to a standard 4 speed for the wife.

I figured offering them to someone who has a real 912 and would appreciate them is the best course.

Thanks, Todd

Those wheels are from a 914-6, 1976 912-E or 911E. Not sure if used on other 912 models. Although a rarer size they aren't popular do to limitation of 14" tires. Isn't it going to be costly to remove the 901 5 speed since it involves full shifter?

The trans was made to work with a stock VW shifter by removing the shift plate and bending the rod to reach the bottom of the pan where a nice flap was cut open for the nose. Mendeola does a nice install of this trans in the standard bug/ghia chassis which I was going to duplicate but decided against it.
removing the trans was as simple as any other one. closing the flap and taking the angle iron front mount "brackets" off the chassis will be a minor job. As it stands, I have another chassis already complete for the Ghia so this one is now a "spare" of sorts. (non matching to the Ghia)

Those Fuchs are not overly desirable. I've seen them for around $1k for 5. Not sure if they sold.

Dibbs on the ghia chassis with 5 speed! You can remove the actual ghia floor pans. I'll bring wheels and tow it home to FL. Have VW 4 spd and 2 914 engines for trade!

The chassis is not "rolling" since I used all the suspension from it for the current one, It is the entire structure with everything unbolted.
The pans are in need of replacement but the perimeter is good so a 2 pc set would suffice. Still has the seat brackets though 1-2 would need some minor repair.

I am more than willing to part with it. It's a '69 and I have the title. I can send pics if you like. I have no need for any parts in trade as I have 3 engines and 2- 4 speed transmissions.
