Friend of mine wanted to get up early and go to an auction that they have here once a month. Starts before sunrise goes until dark, covers over 100 acres selling cars, trucks, boats, motorcycles, anything motorized including farm equipment all sizes, livestock, guns, food etc. furniture, tools, building supplies, damaged freight, you name it. But I saw this and while I didn't get it I know it went for less than 10 bucks.

Yes, looks like one of the knock-off Hazet Tool Carts.

I would definitely grab it for $10.

Looks like this in the gallery

Yes indeed. Old school thinking. I believe they were issued to young apprentice mechanics in Europe? I think it would look period correct with an older air-cooled VW/356 display. Would definitely buy that for $10.
Bill.

One row was the entire contents of Ace hardware that had been liquidated. Another was Car Quest. I think you could buy a kidney here too if you look hard enough.

Nice to know where this place is located? Is it in a different continent? I can say it is not Pamona for sure.

No it's located along hwy 412 on the way to Arkansas, they do this sale as weather permits once a month and as pics show its all outdoors. I'm always buying better tools not the shitty Chinese tools but name brand American for prices less than harbor flop. This impact retails for over 400, I paid less than 100. The big weird looking suit case tool cabinet dates from mid 1920s per the Snap-On catalog and its empty missing everything but I paid zero for it, vendor gave it to me because I've known him for years. He knows I like stuff like this.

Love that area. Highway 412 is one of the nicest pieces of roads coming out of Tulsa. I should check that out. It would be worth a road trip. Ray

HEY!! What about me?
Oh yeah I don't have any $$$ Sad

I've seen that auction setup several times on my way over there- didn't know they had all that stuff though--I thought it was just a massive car auction.

raygreenwood where are you in Des Moines?
I have some good college friends that live in West Des Moines right off 235 (they used to live in Ankeny.) I will be up there visiting them the end of this month.

That auction is on the east side of Tulsa and zundfolge is in broken arrow also east side of TUlsa, if you were coming down for that it would be better to come down hwy 71 (or interstate 49 as it is now known) and take I-44 at Joplin down to the east side of Tulsa (although in Oklahoma Hwy Dept's infinite wisdom that's a TOLLED INTERSTATE only in OK.)
