Hi, a few questions.
I am doing a 1z conversion and the hoses that go to the oil cooler are in the way of the motor mount.
If you have a solution for this let me know.
I have determined based on this awesome diagram that i need to plumb in the oil cooler from a different location.
Also looking at this diagram, does anyone know the part number for the hilighted hose?
I am also curious if there is a way to delete the third, lowest water pump intake. I think the bottom two are returns and the top is the pump outlet.

Oil cooler hoses are not in the way if you use the late T3 1.6 TD engine code JX hoses.
Do not plug the water pump.
For the thermostat hook up, either use the T3 elbow, which is at 45° to clear the engine mount, if you don't have an AC compressor, or the Tdi 90° elbow up and fabricate something to connect the JX hose, that will prolly have to alter in this case.
The hose you're looking for is found on 4 cylinder AAZ on T4 for example.
028121053N.
Looks like you already have the plastic flange from the Audi 80 with no nipple, that's good! _________________ Silicone Steering Boots and 930 Cv boots for sale in the classifieds.

Hey that looks an awful lot like my motor haha
That hose is off all the non oil cooler equipped early mk1/2 stuff
Don't block off the lower port. _________________ MegaSquirt resource - SpitfireEFI.com

Incorrect. The 1.6L hose may look the same but is shorter. The 1.9L block is a bit taller by about 13mm.
Some aftermarket make one version for both, and you trim it but there's no way to know before you buy and try unless somebody did it and documented it.
The part number starts with 028, that tells you it's specific for the 1.9 and alike.
The older hose would be 068 for 1.6. 068121053M. 121 is for cooling parts group btw. _________________ Silicone Steering Boots and 930 Cv boots for sale in the classifieds.

Thats a good tip
I remember having to trim the last couple of those I installed, including the one in that picture - so I'm not sure if the aftermarket ones I've been ordering are just too long by design now
When I'm not on my phone I can find the p/n of that one in the picture...
edit - heres the one i ordered
