I have 2 distributors for my mildly mod. 58 356 1600 big bore, cam, 40 Weber's and exh.
#1 is a 231129022

The 0231 129 022 was used by Porsche, and is identical to the VJ4BR18, from 1958 to 1967. it has 32* advance in the distributor.

The VJ4BR25 was never used on any Porsche. It originally came on a 1959-60 VW Type 2 (Bus). It has only 22* at the distributor.

You want to use the "022".
