Circlips size?

I’m about to put a 1600 gearbox in my 70 bus. I have the caps but I’m missing the circlips. Anyone know the size or description?

The ones that go on the flanges before the driveshafts attach

091 have a spring washer under them. Don't know about an 002. You 'll have to look in the early bay fiche to see.

that is an 002 isn't it? Did you Google the part number?

That said - geez that looks nasty. Hope the seals still work and no crap got inside the carrier bearings.

For the Final drive FD flange. You will need.

Call Weddle and tell them what your doing and ask which circling you need?

Thanks guys, I’m in oz and the only parts supplier jk has them but they’re on back order. Need an alternative.

There is nothing special about the circlips, they are the bare ring type which don't have eyes to help in their removal. They are similar to what is used to hold the CV joint on the axle, but are likely a different size.

Don't know what you have nearby in the way of an industrial parts house, but I would think a city of any size would likely have something that would work.

Oh you are down-under in Oz. Just flip the circlip over then. Laughing

You will have to Google it to see who has that clip in OZ or call around. Our search engines in other parts of the world aren't going to give us suppliers in OZ.
