I thought I would reflect on a different era when splits were not for wealthy people - a long time ago.
Check out the features:
1) Hand painted "Gorgosaurus" on both sides - wicked.
2) Cut out rear wheel arches for big sand tyres to do beach work - way to go.
3) Pop rivited air intakes to improve engine cooling - dubious.
Thats me on the left hand side and my bro on the right who painted the dinosaurs. He got bored one day and just painted.
Check out the curtains - not sure why I needed them.
This was one serious offroad vehicle.
Things just are not the same anymore. |

A plumber wanted to haul long pieces of pipe with his truck back in the day, you wouldn't do this to a single cab now

Err No.
But I do like how he (or she) has kept the rear view mirror on the left hand side at the front - safety first, top marks.
By the way what is the white screen for - skulduggery |

Safety? I think it should have red flags on the ends of the load.
I think the white screen is the canopy setup.
I like the dinosoar. |

I bought my first kombi in Canberra from a car lot- Got a panel and window bus for $300.-- Took bits off the van to make the kombi and gave the panel to the mechanic helping me out.
Those were the days-
Most abuse I ever gave a bus was moving from New Jersey to Oregon with all my stuff in winter.
