Aloha folks!
I cannot find anywhere a clear picture of the syncro tank brackets/straps.
I have a short one and a long one. The long one is slightly angled at the top, sending the bottom threaded rod a little bit to the left, so my guess is that it goes on the passenger side.
Any answer from somebody knowledgeable?

The short one goes on the left.....
I had this same question about a week ago and had to verify myself!

| The way mine is, the shorter strap placed on your left is paired with the strap that saddles the fuel outlet. |
