My 010 Automatic is leaking fluid from both gaskets on the bottom of the transmission. What seals do I need to obtain (and from where) to correct this. I've searched the interwebs but can't seam to figure out which seals I need. Any assistance in this would greatly be appreciated. _________________ 1976 Type II Westy P22

I only have the part numbers handy because I'm facing the same work on the loaner '81 Vanagon that I'm care-taking until I get the new engine & transmission in my '75. Same transmission, same gaskets... |

You need to get the tranny clean enough you can determine exactly where the oil is coming from. Pretty much the oil will end up on the bottom of the pans no matter where it leaks from so it can take some sleuthing to determine the source. |
