I would like to add full flow oil filtering to my beetle as I intend to get more serious with the autocross and rallycross events I do. But I still want to keep the vintage look.

I am looking for the MANN or Fram full flow canister filters to replace the MANN bypass filter I currently have.

I could not find any in the classifieds but I found old posts where some members mentioned having a stash of them.

I will take one in any shape. I can always repair and repaint.

Let me know what is out there.

Moderator note:
This is sort of a wanted ad, which are not allowed in the Forums, but I suspect this is something that might be available new as reproduction or maybe from another source like eBay so I'm leaving the thread in place as a "Who sells this part?" question.

They show up from time to time on eBay. I picked one up recently for 69 USD.

Try searching for "NOS Fram canister filter".

Cheers,

My mistake. Over a decade on The Samba and still making goofs.

In all honesty, it is a "wanted" ad.

But you did bring up a really good point about manufacturers that may reproduce these items.

If you like, I can reword my first post and the title to better reflect where not only myself but others going the same route can benefit.
