Hi everyone. I've been trying to find some more feedback about Darryl's Air-Cooled engines out of MO. Either I'm searching wrong or there isn't much on here. What little I've found is nothing but positive.
Ultimately I'm looking for a mild streeter turnkey engine, something in the 110hp range. I'm currently researching several builders but Darryl's is by far the hardest to research. I talked to Darryl himself but I'd like other opinions.
Besides Fat Performance, Gary Berg (who is no longer building), Mofoco (6 month lead time), CB Performance (not currently building), Paradise Motorsport (as of writing has not gotten back to me), GEX (I know to stay away) and Mighty mouse (who I'm currently corresponding with), does anyone have any other suggestions? Hell, does anyone have anything new to say about any I've just mentioned?
Any help would be greatly appreciated! |

Hell, if you heard 6 month lead time from Mofoco, that was a lie. I've had my order in for almost a year (11 months) and they haven't started it yet. |
