Removing Seam Sealer

In an effort to fix my squishy floors I'm going to remove the seam sealers so that I can re-weld the floor where it's wobbly so they don't bounce. How should I go about doing this? I've tried using a wire brush on the drill but it's removed it but not the part in the cracks between the tunnel and the floor.

Heat gun and physical means while still hot.

I don't think a heat gun is necessary, but I'll try. The stuff is peeling off everywhere else . My other problem is that it may be underneath the pan on the lip so how would I go about getting that off too?

I just used a putty knife. Sometimes I would heat the end of it with a torch to get thru thick areas. Then I used an 80 grit flap wheel to get the remaining down to bare steel. In some tight areas where even the putty knife wouldn't fit, I'd use small screwdrivers or razor knifes. Whatever works to get the job done. Not the best job to do, but necessary to move on to the good stuff!
