Door window grommets

I am putting the door glass in after 9 years having them out. I have new channel rubber for them to sit in, but it seems there should be grommets in the 2 holes that are used to bolt the window to the channel. The holes in the glass are oversized to hold a grommet. It doesn't make sense to have the bolts in contact with the glass, as this could crack the glass

I have looked in the KGPR and House of Ghia catalogs and they don't show a grommet. I saved all the fasteners in a baggy and no grommet there either.
