Need some parts help: is the wide white plastic header trim available somewhere? This one has wrinkled quite a bit. Thanks
Forgot to say this is for a 1976 Westfalia

Bet if you took it off & heated it with a heat gun or equal, pressed it flat with a couple 2X 4S with weight it would be re useable. |

Really sweet Bus, heat gun and a wet cloth to "quench" once it gets good and warm helps retain desired shape. _________________ Fat chick owner/operator |

It has the swivel front seat, 2.0 l engine, and the cabinets are all along one side which leaves room between the bed and the passenger seat.
In my Riviera, if the bed is pulled out, there is about one square foot to stand between the sink cabinet and the cooler cabinet.
It makes it very tight for two adults and one 70 lb dog.
Some people prefer the full width bed that mine has, but I think I'd like the 3/4 width with room to stand and get dressed. _________________ -Kent-

Mine was also badly warped. Unable to find a replacement, I took mine off and the bare green metal looked nice as well. Recently I did use the NLA VW piece and it is hgh quaity. It is off white in color and a bit stiffer plastic than the original, but is a very accurate replacement piece. _________________ 1978 Sage Green P22 Westfalia

Just how off-white is it? Do you have photos of it installed? _________________ Eric

I purchased this from NLA a few years back. Yes it is a bit stiffer. I could not get rear edge wrapped over the sheet metal. Trimmed it to fit and used some Gorilla tape to hold it in place. Looks great still.
