Hello all-
I am in the middle of replacing gaskets and working on the clutch and noticed something that concerned me around the lip of the engine case in this area.
I posted some pictures of the area which is at the bottom of the engine where you would mount to the transmission.
These are angled views of the area
Should I be concerned? |

Most cases are dipped there to allow stuff to drain from the bellhousing, it's nothing to worry about. _________________ Rust NEVER sleeps and stock never goes out of style.

As BD mentions there was a drainage passage there from the factory, looks to me like someone may have crudely enlarged it. |
