was it common practice for westfalia to paint the tent brackets and bullet seals? they appear to have been painted on the cover photo also |

For the roof tent mounts the change came in mid 1963: before in roof color and after bare aluminum.

| I think it was common for westfalia to paint over a lot of things when they did the paint at the factory. So the seals is no surprise and as todd mentioned the mounts were all painted early on, even on VW-painted westfalias. |

What is a SIWA reefer? The wheels look like they were painted butternut as well. Incredible documentation. True old school westy porn. |
