Hello everyone

I can't seem to find any information how to get rid of the loud clunky sound thats coming from the Speedwell supercharger in my 54 beetle. It runs great but it is loud. It isn't the bearings as I've taken off the first cover behind the pulley and the bearings are smooth. The gears on the other hand make a clunky noise when I move them. I haven't taken the second cover off behind the gear wheels and was wondering if there is anything I can do if I do get that cover off? The gears have play in them from behind the second cover.

Has anyone taken their Speedwell or pepco apart ad fixed this issue? I know this has been an issue with these but I haven't seen a post with a fix or how to.

Any help would be appreciated
