Got home safely Sunday afternoon, muffler bracket cracked and fell off but that's pretty good for me. Great weekend, had a great time. Thanks everyone!

Dennis and Ron awarded my dad this lovely award for a breakdown on the way into the show. We had a loose gas line that was spraying gas. We smelled fumes along I-64 but thought it was minor.

When we parked in the lot at the show, our friend Bill Stears noticed puddled gas. We went over to our hotel and I climbed under the car and moved the clamp to better rubber.

It stopped the leak. We did not think anything about it until Dennis and Ron were asking if anyone had trouble on the way in. Bill threw out our car troubles and we received the Broken Piston award.

Thanks everyone who attended - it was a great show and got to see some cars we have not seen in prior years.

Yeah very nice photos, I like the broke piston award too it's a work of art.

Sorry I couldn't attend this time, but hearing next year may be in NC i'm getting excited again!

Sehr geil ! Great pictures, and it appears all had a great time ! Unfortunately I was not able to attend, so close of a drive From St Louis, MO, however, The Wife did not want to spend our wedding anniversary at a VW Thing event, go figure . . .
