Are you still welding up some holes?
I think there are some holes in the engine compartment that are not original.

HI ,

Yes, Originally BD Emblem should be the ones with 3 pins and not 4 pins .....but i could not find the ones with 3 pins, furthermore, the new emblem(Stainless Steel) I'm installing is with 4 pins . Its very hard to source Original with 3 pins.....

Original to the Bus was also with 4 pins, maybe it was modified or changed over the years by previous owners....maybe, not sure.

In your engine compartment photo above, what is that part by the battery?

It looks like it's hooked to your battery negative cable.
(The battery is usually the other way around though)
