too all of you that have used the Harbour Freight bender. After the modification has been done to delete the two rollers and use the pipe cut in half as "shoes" does the bend stay the same diameter all the way thru ???? |

The Bend Radius stays the same. The diameter of the tubing does increase about 1/32 to 1/16 of an inch in the middle of the bend if your "shoe" is worn. It deforms the tubing about the same as my JD Model 32 bender. _________________ Bad News Racing 2018 NORRA 1000 3rd in Class

Everyone is gifted. Some just do not open the package.
Looks like it was painted with a live chicken, polished with a brick and buffed with a pine cone |

thanks for the reply joescoolcustoms.. I think i have my answer. I have a HF bender that I am going to use a 1 3/4" die from my exhaust bender, make an adaptor from the die to the bottle jack 3/4" nipple. Then use two spare shoes from the bender to do the HF mod instead of the rollers. In theory and thought it should work. Let yall know |
